Custom Foot Orthotics

A custom orthotic is a device that is placed in your footwear to support, correct or accommodate foot mechanics or abnormalities.

When paired with appropriate footwear, an orthotic can change and improve your lower body mechanics and gait. There are two types of custom orthotics, functional and accommodative.

Functional orthotics are devices used to correct and/or modify your mechanics whereas accommodative orthotics are devices used to accommodate existing mechanics and redistribute pressure points.

Over the Counter Insoles

OTC insoles are insoles found off the shelf that address mild foot alignment abnormalities, namely flat feet. These insoles are generic in design and go off your shoe size.

OTC insoles are a good option for many people depending on your foot type, gait, footwear and specific situation.
